Hi everyone-
Saw my pdoc today-before i go away.     Says my anxiety level still high & not really sleeping as well as i should.
I already take Valium (about 7.5 mg before bedtime......& that's it)--  I don't wanna take too much Valium '.     Friend of mine is a w psych. patients (& others)--he highly recommended Busbar..wink that it's a 'mild"...minor tranquilzer , is not addictive & is not a "benzo", it can be taken with Valium!      He said he took it a few yrs ago--& did wonders for him-
I suggested it to my pdoc....& he was very enthusiastic about Busbar!blush
Gave me an Rx.......for 5 mg.....Busbar---FIRST week---one tab at breakfast
Week tab at breakfast & one at lunch---& third week.....breakfast--lunch & dinner-(15 mg...all together----which is not a high dose!)
Aside from my RN...friend.......the pharmacist (who I've known for years)---said it's a good med...non addicting....& says it's taken often  by Physicians.....& their wives...(hhmmm...interesting) _I figure if Drs....take's probably pretty safe--
So--I ask ---how many out there have been on Busbar for anxiety?    Does it take a while to "kick in"-----?       Has it taken the edge off your anxiety?
Hoping to get some feedback--ANY info will help--  Thanks---Robert smilewinkgrin

I use Buspar and I agree it is a good med.  Give it a try and I think you will find it will help you.

Hmmm. I haven't found it to have any effect on my anxiety. I've gone up to 30 mg/day. I was at that level for several weeks but...nothing. Maybe I need to try it again at a higher dose.
