I have been going through some tough times with my anxiety with everything I have going on. While I was in the hospital the psych doc prescribed Klonopin. It really works on the anxiety although it does make me feel a bit sad.

I take 0.5 in the morning and afternoon and then 1.0mg at bedtime. I also take this along with my 100mg Zoloft.

I have been feeling dumb the last few days and I sometimes feel like I am not talking right. Like my mouth won't work and I am slurring my speech a bit.

I googled this and it isn't listed as a common side effect.

Anyone else experience this? It is scaring me a bit.

Blessings, Kitkat eyes

I think that is probably the klonopin. When I first started taking it I left like I was in a fog, was very forgetful and had slurred speech. It took a while to get used to the drug. If it gets worse you may want to go to your primary Dr just to rule out anything else though.

Hang in there.

I felt like I was in a fog from the SSRI's and I was on Cymbalta. I use Valium at low dose for anxiety and I feel ok. I use 2 mg Valium as needed.

Check with your physician if this foggy feeling continues.

Take care,

Kitt
