Hi, I'm Cat(z) and though chronic pain is what brought me to this site, no less huge or real is living with Panic Disorder and Bi Polar Disorder. Panic Disorder will take me to my knees and make me beg for mercy! It is very real and very difficult to keep in check...wait, I don't keep it in check! It kind of keeps me in check. I take medication for it and several other problems both physical and mental and I don't sleep. I have been dealing with this since my first diagnosed panic attack at age 15. I'm now 51. It's certainly better than it's ever been before, but I'm not healed. I live one day at a time and often one breath at a time. Thanks for being here.

Welcome Cat,

Thanks for sharing your story. Panic used to keep me in check too, but through counselling and positive self-talk I mostly call the shots these days! Keep fighting and know we understand the struggle. It really is a day to day battle, but you can put panic in it's place! It's lovely to have you here.
