Hi this pinkmelody.Yesterday I went and saw my primary doc.He put me on zoloft.but I got the generic one.Anyways its 10 mg and i cut it in half.I dont like how its making me feel.I could not sleep at all and i'm still up.I took it around 2 30 in the afternoon, and went to sleep around 10 30 and been tossing and turning all night.I've been up since 447 am.I dont know what to do with myself. My doc took me off the ativan.I dont know why....The ativan did not make me feel this way.I know that the ativan is for anxiety.why am i feeling this way.Its like i keep thinking about this med zoloft that i just took.Do u guys know how long this will take to lightin up off me?What kind of attitude should i be having?I need some advice really bad.Should i drink alot of water to get it out of my system? Its 1208 in the after noon here.I'm on pacific time.

I quit zoloft only to get back on it 2 months later and when i got back on it i took one at bed time then woke up and took one in the morning and by lunchtime i all of the sudden got a rush of anger and then anxiety with it and my heart raced but then i calmed down and remembered that i was supposed to break them in half for a week then go full pill after that also hope fully the atavan is leaving your system and your body is reacting to the withdraw. just thinking of things ive been thru. hang in there.

Maybe the Zoloft is giving you extra energy. Try taking it first thing in the morning and see if that helps. Hugs!

Did your doc not wean you off the ativan or you just stopped cold
i cannot tk zoloft as it makes heart race for some reason
it takes time for ad s to get into system from my undestanding i am not a doc
i would think its coming off the ativan like that i would talk to your doc about it
