Has anyone tried this to help with their anxiety and had any success? Was reading about it and was just curious. Hugs!

Hi Nan!
I take a B-Complex vitamin everyday. Your B vitamins and magnesium are both excellent for anxiety. I can't tell if it's specifically helped me, but it sure can't hurt! For me, the Taurine has been the biggest help of all. I buy Magnesium Taurate which is magnesium w/taurine in it. I take it as well as straight Taurine.

Well I got a complete B injection the other day, and I do feel a little better. I was getting my shots every week and had slacked off the past month or so and noticed my anxiety ramped up some. So I am going to definetly get back on schedule and see if that helps. As well as another appt with my therapist of course:)

Good Morning Nanners,

I think you have a double edged problem as you have Crohn's. The vitamins that most patients with inflammatory bowel disease lack are the B-complex vitamins such as folic acid and vitamin B6, and particularly vitamin B12.

If you feel better on the injections then I sure would recommend that you get them as per physician's order.

The effect of vitamin B6 on neurological function is shown in its ability to ease stress, anxiety and depression. I take a high potency B complex daily however for me it is hard to tell if it is working as I have these break through bouts of bad anxiety and of course the depression is my other demon.

I say go for it !

Gentle Hugs,

Kitt

I've been on a diet. At first it was a starvation diet just to get me to knock off all the bad foods. But about a month ago I started eating again, only better. And I've felt better. With the vitamins and "superfood" and such I'm sure that's made a difference.

My husband and I were talking about me missing some of my shots, and we really think that may have contributed to the big anxiety attacks I was getting. So I am definetly going to be more proactive and make sure I get those injections on time from now on. Thanks for all your concern and advice.

I used to take B Complex for my anxiety and I thought it did wonders! I'm actually going to get back on it. I also read in an axiety book that Ginko is great for vertigo/dizziness. Going to try that, too! I heard Magnesium is good, too!

Vitamin Bs, C, and Cal-Mag all work for anxiety.
