I want off the drugs! Are there any herbs or supplements I can start taking today while I start the very slow process of eliminating the paxil out of my system? Over the course of a month or two I would like to be paxil free....I suffer from Panic Attacks at least once a day, I feel I just need a natural remedy that will keep me mellow throughout the day. Can anyone shed some advice and point me in the direction on what I should be looking to buy?

Basically I would like to know what has worked for you, and what herb and supplementation regiment would you recommend.

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin...I weaned off Lexapro too fast and really suffered so go slowly.  I took (and still take) Omega 3 fish oil and magnesium citrate to help me through withdrawals.  I found this combo on an SSRI withdrawal forum and it seems to be what most people take to help their bodies adjust.

I am glad you have found a dx that may be causing some of your sx. I do hope you are seeing a therapist to help you work through this new dx.

Started seeing a therapist, Prescribed 20mg a day of Adderall xr 20mg, still on my 20mg a day of paxil. I have been reading that this isnt safe but my psychiatrist nor doctor or pharmacist do not seem to think so. I am worried about this Seritonin Syndrome. Should I be?
