Hi, I have had these head zaps. I had them in my teens starting in my head and it would affect my whole body==if I was holding a pen and writing all motion would stop for a split second. I have been on prozac for years, and I still get them but only in the head now.! I saw one answer referring to cranial nerve impulses. But, don't worry about
it! I take my 30 mg of Prozac at night when I go to bed. When I wake up around 5 am to take my thyroid med and then go back in bed my head will zap: sometime once, sometimes two at a time, for maybe 4 sets of 2 LOL! Sometimes I get them during the day. I could be doing anything, but I feel great no matter if they come or not. I just tell my husband my head is zapping. I also have always worn glasses, one eyelid is slowly drooping more and more as I get older. Also, my in my neck my spine is not curved right, so I feel all this is related to the vertebrae in my neck always being out of alignment since birth. I am just thankful I am in this century where there is medication for this.
