I think I have found out (by myself) that my anxiety is getting worse. I had to litterally fly off the transit bus the other week because I thought I was going to get sick. I've never seen a bus driver stop so fast...hehehehe Well it wasn't funny at the time.
I crossed the street to the Fire Station. I'm so glad someone was there at the time. It took me a little while but I finally figured it out.
I thought way back several years ago I was driving in my car and I would have these panic/anxiety attacks. I thought I was going to die back then. Then I didn't have any for a couple of years. Then I had to start taking a transit bus and my panic/anxiety attacks started happening again.

I wish it would end already.

I'm sorry to hear that your anxiety is becoming worse. I can sympathize with regards to the public transit issue, as I've spent far too much money on taxis these past months getting to and from places (I don't drive due to anxiety either), as the bus seems to freak me out also.

Hopefully you can remember some old techniques that helped you in the past, or if you want, I'm sure there are many people on the site that can offer you suggestions as well.

Obviously, I would suggest to speak with your family doctor if you have one and explain what you're going through.

I just wanted to acknowledge your post, and wish you well.

Take care.

Good Morning Hara,

I am sorry to hear your anxiety is kicking into high gear. I am wondering what you have been doing to control your anxiety on a daily basis and also what helped you through your driving anxiety a couple of years ago?

Please know you are not alone as we have many members with the same anxieties as you are experiencing.

Kindly,

Kitt

I don't take taxi just because it is way too expensive. I trade off and on between my car and the bus. It keeps my anxiety down a bit.

I will be telling my DR. alot of things. My anxiety is effecting my legs and back and memory and a host of other things.

I hope you're able to get it under control soon... Anxiety sucks when it starts to get out of control....
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

That's very good advice, Lucky... My therapist tells me to work on doing breathing exercises, too...

*Especially since it can be very easy to hypervenhillate, which will only make anxiety worse*
