Hi Everyone, I'm new to this site and am so thankful I've found it. I can relate so much to the A/P and D problems that I've read about here. I use to think I was pretty much alone with this problem since a couple of doctors said they had never heard of people not being able to make to the bathroom in time. I'm slightly (if there's such a thing) agoraphobic so I've only been to a couple of doctors. I changed my diet 2 years ago and that has helped a lot but, not completely, with my D problem. Every time I leave my house I feel I need to use the bathroom. If no bathroom is close, I panic, and feel an even greater urgency to use the bathroom. Close calls have me in a panic constantly. I also am worse with A/P and D when I'm on my period. How come doctors don't know about this stuff????????????

Edit:  I moved your post to your thread.  :)

Hello and welcome,

I agree with Lyn and wonder if you have ever been evaluated for your diarrhea by and Gastroenterologist ?

I know some people are plagued with diarrhea where as others get upset stomachs when their anxiety is high. Please do get a good physical.

I have read some people's posts that have had luck going on an Antidepressant for the anxiety and D.

You deserve relief from this problem so please do contact your Dr. We are all here for you.

Kindly,

Kitt
