man, i have been through this before andno big deal but this morning i am having bad anxiety because of course i read the side effects of vaccines for children. geez.

close to my town we had an outbreak of bacterial meningitis and two 7 yr olds died and one had to have his legs and arms amputated. the shot is only required for kids 11 and up and my son is 4. but thinking this could happen to my child i want to protect him.

not sure what to do!!!

This is a personal decision for you but try not to overthink the subject and do try to stop the anticipatory anxiety and the what ifs? I know you will make the best decision for your child.

i really can't help it i feel like - the overthinking and anticipating the worst.

i have been anxious all day thinking about "what if" my anxiety comes back or stays and i can't get rid of it and then i went to work and a lady was like "stress kills" and so now i'm worried i'm harming my health!!!! ugh

i just went for a job and jumped rope to burn off some stress. i am going to see a therapist tomorrow. hopefully she can help me with this crap! haha i really feel like i can't control it. i am also having major financial problems and my house might go into foreclosure so i think this contributing so much - just wish i would not let it turn into anxiety though. but it's kinda hard not to!! ugh

Hazel,

I just read your response to Christian C and I was so proud of you for recognizing how to deal with your own anxiety.

To see you pull your answer to anxiety from within was a wonderful thing so remember this always and when the anxiety tries to take over remember how you deal with it and then do it. Remember you have anxiety, anxiety does not have you.

Great job.

Kindly,
Kitt

thanks kitt! i tried and i do try everyday to deal with this anxiety that has been bad the last month for some reason.

the buspar doesn't seem to be helping much nor does benadryl lately. ugh

i did go to see a therapist yesterday so that was interesting.

i have a stupid stomach virus and no PTO time at work so i'm sure that isn't helping. but since tues morning when i got konnor his shots and had the panic, i'm on the vicious cycle again. off and on. oh well i'll get thru it. just gotta learn to relax and not check my stupid pulse!!!!! ha therapist says it normal for people with panic and anxiety. i started crying talking to her telling her i just don't feel normal and i hate it!!!! ha really makes me feel out of control.

thanks again - you guys are great.
