I am so glad I found this group! I have never had any issues with worry or anxiety of any kind until I was 41. I had my first panic attack and had NO idea what was going on. Well, I found out perimenopause is going on and it sucks! I have the worst problem the week before my period which starts every 21 days or so. I have very few days in the month anymore when I feel good. Whenever I feel an attack gearing up, I come online to find other sufferers to feel not so alone. I always feel better when I find others and realize I'm probably not going to die this time.

Thank you all for sharing your stories and making me laugh and letting me know I'm  not alone. I still don't know if I'll make it through to full menopause though. I hate this! I'd be interested to know if anyone here has tried a hysterectomy or knows if anyone felt better after one.

Thanks,

Teedle

Welcome Teedle!

This is an amazing, supportive site. You are in the right place. Lyn and Kitt will be here with fantastic advice. They have helped me and in their generous way will help you too! Panic is fleeting, but the fear of panic lasts. I find it helps me not to dwell on anxiety and to find someone to talk to about it. It's no fun, but healing well is here to give tips. Welcome and I hope you love it here :-)
