hi everyone, Im bipolar, but I also have anxiety and panic attacks.I have an anxiety attack everyday. Today I had a really bad panic attack. Rite now I'm manic and I skimmed over some of the other stuff that people wrote and I noticed that there are some praying people on here. I was just wondering if some of you could pray for me? I'm a christian, but I've had some bad experiences in the church and I have been very hurt.I go to church but I always feel like I can't go to the alter because I feel like it is a hassle to the preacher, not the preachers fault though. I always get depressed or have a panic attack afterwards if i do go up.I do know God can heal and I read my bible and pray every night, but I really need to get my life together.I know I am suppose to be a leader. I have wanted to be a missionary since I was 9.

I will pray for you! I do believe that God heals, and I also believe that He allows us to go through hardship and illness. Sometimes, we also need to seek the help of professionals i.e, doctors, therapy, maybe medicine. I am glad to hear that you are hanging onto your faith in spite of negative experiences in the church. Remember people (even servants in the church) are fallible and will hurt and dissapoint us, but He never will. He will never leave you or forsake you. You may be going through a trial, but there will be a growing experience from it. Do get some help from your doctor for your panic attacks if you haven't already. You can learn tools through therapy that can free you from this. I also recommend learning some relaxation and breathing techniques to help calm you-they really turned things around for me. If you enjoy music, I found a lot of strength in listening to worship music. Delirious? in particular is an awesome band-powerful lyrics.
Prayers, and hugs to you-let us know how you're doing,

I agree that the trials we go through in life allow us to grow. I would never have asked to go through this, but when I reflect back upon what I've been through I see a lot of growth and positivity. I've overcome a long-standing fear, made new friends, reconnected with my family, developed more confidence... I may not know what exactly I'm may be called to do here on Earth, but I feel that I'm being prepared and molded in order to do whatever it might be. I'll say a prayer too and I hope you find peace on the inside even when there's a storm on the outside.
