I am so sorry...that is not the way you want to start your day, I know.

Is this anxiety flaring and trying to be opportunistic? In other words, can you expect that things will be fine this afternoon?

Or maybe it is caused by fatigue, and just one procedure too many...that is completely understandable!

...but you can still try to do what you can to help yourself feel calmer and in a better place.

Being here is a good thing to stay distracted. Or maybe writing in your journal, calling a friend or family member (hint, hint ;p)

You are surrounded by prayers, thoughts, well wishes...and of course we go along with you this afternoon in spirit.

Let us know how you are doing soon, and until then big giant encouraging hugs.

Hi Kitt,

I'm really sorry that today feels this way, I keep thinking about what might help of me to post.

So...I came up would I feel in your shoes, and I can imagine quite clearly, though having no experience of your situation, that I would undoubtedly, feel upset, worried and anxious. Not because I have an anxiety disorder (as I don't), but because of the challenge of what the day brings for you.

I hope that the appointment is/went well, and as you asked for help....I can imagine what might make me feel better, if I were in a similar situation, I think for me it would be the love and support of my family. I am lucky to have such kind and loving family members, though even if, in the event of not having family to turn to, I know from being here and from talking with colleagues and neighbours etc, that there is always someone there.

Best Wishes Kitt.

I made it through the day and the biopsy caused some pain but nothing I could not handle.  MY PCP is the most wonderful Dr. and so gentle.  She believes things look good and the outcome will be normal tissues - no signs of cancer.
If it was that would give me 2 entirely different cancers and she said this is very unusual but to be on the safe, safe, safe side we did the test.
My knees are still shaking but I have 3 days to myself, just my dog Memphis and me alone over the week-end and than back to clinic for the beginning of my chemo week.
Love to all,
