I'm 28 years old and here's my list

Mouth cancer (have been battling smoking for a few years)
Throat cancer
Lung Cancer
Skin cancer (checked every mole :)
HIV
ALL STD's (even though I'm a faithful husband, but still thought I had them)

The list would be longer, but these keep me busy enough :). HIV was finally "cured" with a test... but mouth and throat cancer is a daily battle. I don't have time for other diseases when I am occupied with these.

However, I am getting a lot better. Been dealing with the tobacco cancers for 12 years and I think I've finally got a handle on things. Every day is a step in the right direction... maybe some day, I won't be a hypo!

I thought I might have MS at one time and I'm always afraid I might have Cancer. Can't blame me though, apparently we have one of the highest rate in the country for both. When I read that a person has a 1 in 4 chance of getting Cancer in their lifetime I am not feeling reassured.

dvt

bone  cancer

brain tumor

breast cancer

the latest is breast cancer. i keep podding and poking for lumps. even tho i find nothing i'm still not convinced. of course all the podding and poking makes me sore. then i panic because i'm sore. a never ending cycle as i'm sure you know. how do u break this cycle?

This is all too funny to read!!
Can you all see how many of us fear CANCER!

I've had panic/anxiety for 2 yrs now.
I've believed at some point during all of that time that I've had:

Brain Tumor (just because it crossed my mind)
Breast Cancer (due to too much chocolate - made them tender)
Uterine Cancer (because of an email I recieved)
Kidney Cancer (due to multiple infections)
Bone Cancer (because I have joint pain)
MS (because of tingling and numbness)
Heart Disease
Throat Cancer
Stomach Cancer (IBS)
Colon Cancer (IBS)
I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring - as of today though -
RA (joint pain)

Great post!  I "ditto" everything you all have written.  And when it turns out it isn't what I thought it was give me 6 months and I will think it is that same thing that it wasn't again.

Ughhhh.  Nice to know I am not alone in my "stinking thinking".
