Hi, I'm trying to figure out what's going on with me.  Sometimes my heart starts racing, I get really tired and feel really weak.  Then I lie down in bed and fall asleep.  After 1-3 hours I start feeling a little better.  Could this be a panic attack?  Does anyone else get really tired when their heart starts racing?

Sigh.  I wish someone would walk in, snap their fingers, and everything would be right again for everybody.  GRUMBLE.

I appreciate any advice anyone has... thanks.

It may or may not be a Panic attack. Best way to find out ito be sure is to get checked by your doctor. I am sure others will be by to post shortly.

Hi Kremit,
Imagine running a marathon. Your heart would race and you'd get tired. Anytime your body is working harder than normal, you're going to feel tired. Heart racing is a symptom of anxiety attacks, but that doesn't mean that's what you have. It could be almost anything. Go to the doctor and get a check up. If you are having anxiety attacks, there are many medications that can help.
