I don't know if ya'll remeber my thread from last week about that physco herbalist lady that does muscle testing and told me I have stomach cancer. Well now all I do is pay attention to every little ache and pain that happens in my stomach area, I am completely tortureing myself. I can't stop with the what if's and the actual test they would need to do is so expensive. I have no symptoms but I think the fact that my sister just died from cervical cancer and my mom has lung, liver and adrenal gland cancer maybe has its part in it. I was better yesterday and then my mom says "well maybe you do" and thats all I had to hear to start the whole wiggin process back up. The doc says there is no need for the test. I don't know I guess I'm just looking for someone to tell me that its normal to get little pains now and then.

Please no freaking out, I do that well enough myself

Daisy, please remember that the herbalist you saw is in no way qualified to make a diagnoses! As far as the twinges of discomfort that you feel, this is perfectly normal-the body often has benign discomforts that we as A/Pers register at a hyper sensitive level. Also A/P brings on gastrointestinal issues as you probably know (gerd, acid reflux, heartburn, ulcers ect...) and while none of these are pleasant, they are not going to cause great harm. The third issuse that you are worried about is the family history. Try not to let this be a source of anxiety for you. It is good that you have this information, it will help you to live a healthy lifestyle and get regular check-ups. Because you have cancer in your family background does NOT mean that you will also get it! "Talk" to your anxiety tell it that the herbalist is a phony doctor and that there is no reason to think that you are anything but healthy!

Daisy, hi, i sure can relate, i have had alot of intestinal troubles lately, and one doc says something and another something else. Im totally scared but it will be ok, i agree with scaredy, remember that there is nothing medical saying you have anything wrong, and yes, it is so normal to have some aches and pains in the stomach. I hope you feel better quickly....my thoughts are with ya
