I thought I'd share a drawing I did. I call it "rain".
You can see it if you click on the "view image" in my signature.
I feel like this so many times...

:-)  Hi Sweet Lady! :-)

What talent you have! I hope you don't mind, but I saved your drawing to my pictures so I can look at it (bigger...my eyesight...not so good LOL) and always be able to think of you. You should do illustrations for books! You are wonderful, and thanks for sharing with us.

Janetlee, that is wonderful work, and yes, i think it portrays how alot of us feel quite a bit, its such a very good job. Im with amos, i can look at something and draw it, but you have tons of talent there, and such a personality to go with it :) hugs!

BTW, the girl is sitting on the marina with her feet almost being pounded by the waves. I live about a 1/2 mile or so from a marina and I love it there. I love rain and heavy winds. I love the water. The girl is sad, feeling lost, but at least she's surrounded by all the things she loves. (I can't say that she's me, cuz I've never been slim....sigh!) And she wants to jump into the water and get taken away, but she can't. She dreads the end of the rain...

Dear Janet-

You are so talented. Poetry, drawing, what other talents do you have? I feel that way right now. I'll explain in a seperate thread.
