Oh yay! That sounds like fun bear!

Just try to have fun of course, don't isolate yourself and talk to a lot of people. (That's what works for me to shed the anxious feelings out in public)

I have to go to a birthday party tonight myself. Going out to the bar with my family, and I hope I'll be fine too.

I know I can do this, and i know I will have fun.

And so will you! :)

Tell me how it turns out!!

Its much better to fortify yourself with a med something short acting like valium or ativan and go to the parties or functions, you will like yourself much more later yeah

if you keep avoiding parties, your friends will probably think of you as snobby or arrogant or as having a superiority complex eyes

Harry a big Dose of valium is not always good as you and I both no

Yes it does help but not if someone has never been on them

Well, it was good, fine, uncomfortable, but still good. It was great seeing my friends. Still, I feel out of place... but overall, it was good.

*hugs*

Big thanks to everyone for the kind words of support. I'm not much of a socializer... except maybe online. I really loved seeing my best friends. I would have felt much happier if it had been just the 4 of us...lol. Hopefully we will plan a smaller little party soon. At least I'm not alone, hubby felt a little out of place too, but he's so sociable you would never guess. Love you all.

Good job bear! I'm proud of ya!

I know the out of place feeling for sure, that's how I felt last night when I was out at the local bar.

But then I just tried to talk a lot and so that helped heh.

I didn't drink tho, can't drink.

Or rather, I quit drinking. *nods*

Good job hon! :)
