Sometimes I have this thing with blinking alot I think its just a habit thing or something, it didnt bother me until my grandma asked me why I kept blinking!! So embarrassing! I told her it was cause of my contacts were bothering my eyes. Does anyone else do anything like that? Do you think its anxiety related???

Yes it definitely could be caused by anxiety or nervousness.
Tell you grandma the real reason(which she probably suspects anyway) and don't feel embarassed, try to make a joke of it. openly accepting these things sometimes helps them to go away.

yup, angela, i agree with them too, it could totally be from a/p, and probably is. I like the way jethro thinks, and i believe him ;) if you do keep a good attitude and make a joke of it, its much easier to take, and could really help. Feel good soon

You could be having chronic dry eyes or your contacts may be bothering you. I tried contacts but had too many problems with them so I am back to wearing glasses. If it is bothersome talk to your doctor about it.

My moms bf has a stress induced "tic" where like half his face twitches and it gets worse the more hes stressed. Could be something similar.

yeah..i think its probably stress related..my bf used to have it for awhile, twitching one eye, just kept blinking alot, its like a tic...stress related. he doesnt do it anymore, but has other tics, it leaves eventually, try not to think about it. im assuming the more people ask you why you do it the worse it gets. or blue could be right dry eyes.
be well :)
