I have been taking 10mg of Valium a day for four years for stuttering anxiety. But, I feel I have overcome my stuttering and no longer require anxiety medication. After speaking with several people they stated that 10mg was a very low dosage. Does anyone have a "standard" of what is high and low in terms of Valium dosage? I know some people who take 50mg a day, but that - I'm sure - is on the very high side.

Thanks,
Hank

Hello Lyn,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, I've been on Valium for about four years now for a small stuttering problem. When I was a child I had chronic stuttering and never received assistance, so I basically helped myself. I work in a field that requires a lot of clear communication. But, recenlty I've been looking to remove myself rom Valium.
