hi angela,
thats definitly something you need talk to your doctor about! they can help you decide when to try something else. remember, meds can take 4-6 weeks to kick in, so if after 6 weeks you're still not feeling better, time to make an appointment with your doctor!

Hey Angela,

If you don't notice a difference call and talk with you doctor. There are tons of different SSRI's and they all work differently for everyone.

Hi Angela

I would talk to your doctor, maybe an increase in celexa would help. Or as said another SSRI. I would give it another couple of weeks to kick in though.

the typical dose range is 10 to 60 so ask doc about upping it to about 30 and try it for a few more weeks, if still no help then try some other type of antidepressant

celexa is one of many prozac type meds

I took Zoloft twice for five years each. Zoloft isn't a tricyclic, but they said it should have taken 3-6 weeks to kick in or whatever. I waited out three months almost each time before I was all good. So hold on friend, unless you doctor says otherwise.
Was on Zoloft for ten years. Trying to go natural for 7 months now, very difficult. Diagnosis: Depersonalization/Derealization, Panic, GAD, mild-OCD, mild-Depression.

I agree, ask the doc, you should feel somewhat better by now id think, he will increase dosage or switch to something else, but ihope you find something soon that works for you.....hugs
