sometimes... yes... I get that terrible feeling...

People will talk about what they're going to do for the summer... and I think... but I'll be dead by then.. I know I will be.

I'll be dead.

And everything just stops and I look around and start panicking.

And leave the room where ever I might be at that moment that I'm thinking about it.

Then again, I thought I'd be dead three years ago.

Yes. Sometimes I have some kind of physical pain and I start to panic about it and it snowballs to the point that I feel like I am just going to pass out and die. Not often, thank God! I am always able to reason with myself and it never lasts for very long.

Everyday I think i'm dying. I've been thinking it for years. As time passes, i believe it even more, although now I think a "real" disease is getting me.

I don't think I'll be convinced i'm fine until someone analyzes each one of my organs, disects my blood, and gives me every neurological test out there.

I feel like this often, too. I'm terrified of dying. I have been since I was a little kid. I remember being about 15 and sitting on the couch watching TV and suddenly being terrified that I was gonna die, I would start crying for no reason. Now that I'm older, the anxiety brings it on...I always think I can't breathe and am going to pass out and die, or stop breathing in my sleep and die.

Good info about the laughing...I'm going to try it to.

I was thinking of the "panic is" thread, and for me panic is being told every day that I have a treminal illness and only have a short time left to live.

Didn't someone say that you should remind yourself you are mortal everyday so that you remember to live life to the fullest? At least us panicers have no problem doing this. It is kind of the sunny side of things. If I am convinced I'm not going to live until christmas I don't wait to give gifts, see my family and friends, and let everyone know how much I love them.
