Welcome to HW were happy you joined us here. You will find pleanty of support from a lot of careing members you will soon call friends.

Have you been to the doctor and got a dx yet for these problems? They can treat you for the hormonal imbalance with daily meds or shots once a month. As for the anxiety and depression my doctor is treating me with fluoxetine, oxazepam and trazodone and I see a counsler once a week.

Go talk to your doctor and please let us know how your doing. There will be others along soon with more info.
(((HUGS)))

I would also suggest that you make a doctor appointment to discuss this with them. Yoga or meditation can help stress levels and there are many books and videos out there. You need to see a doctor and find out what problems you do have and if you should be on medication. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Welcome
I totally agree you need to see a doc have your hormone levels checked and perhaps a full physical done
Also remember to tell him all about your Anxiety and what is going on this is the only way you will get a proper dx IMO
Take care and keep us posted

They test your saliva to see what your hormone level is and go from there. I think you have to go to a compounding pharmacy to get the medicine though, from what my mom says. As soon as my mom gets me the info on the doctor I need to see, I am going.
I am a 20-year employee of the United States Postal Service, which has been a long period of trials and troubles for me. I've been physically ill a lot and suffer from depression and panic disorder, and the Postal Service (nor any other employer) likes excessive absenteeism. So I've had to deal with that via endless rounds of paperwork and harassment from management.

Hi muchafraid and welcome. I got relief from my anxiety and panic attacks from therapy. Start with your G.P. as others have suggested and go from there. He/she may refer you to a therapist. In addition, I found many great books on anxiety and panic from the library. Others have also tried an on-line therapy program calle Moodgym. I personally haven't tried this, (i went through CBT with a therapist during weekly appointments) but have heard good things about it. It's free and you can do it from home at your own pace. Good luck and let us know how it is going.
