sometimes I stay up til 5, sometimes 6 in the morning.  I try to sleep sometimes, and try to go to bed by 2 or 1 at times, but I end up laying there for three or four hours.

Even the ativan doesn't help.

And then I end up waking at 3 pm the next day, and can't seem to get out of this night owl habit.

Any advice?

I don't wanna take sleeping pills as I already take Ativan and Lexapro and am afraid to.

eek

*and the insomnia rages on LOL*

Is this connected with my anxiety or depression does anyone think?

Maybe I need my dosage of ativan to be upped.  I really don't know.

I had to have my ativan upped not long ago hun and for me it helped
Then I slid into a depression mode past couple of weeks and was totally opposite could not stay awake ( saved on the ativan and valium lol)
Maybe you need to talk to doc as you know this is not great for the A/P or any health issues
Take care

I notice my sleep paterns are affected atleast in part by my mood/stress. Do you exercise or do anything to wear you out during the day? I find the more active I am the more likely I am to sleep.

Honey I'm sorry your having probs sleeping. I have found that no matter how bad a night I have had I make myself stay up the next day without even a nap so I will be able to sleep that night. I sometimes get my days and nights mixed up and this is the only way I can get them back on track and I'm on trazadone for sleeping. Hopefully sweet dreams will come for you soon.
