Anxiety attacks are the same as panic attacks. There are are other meds for it as well as other alternative treatments. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps many people. Ask Twiggygal about sending you the free lessons. If you want some other info that I think you'd be interested in, just email me and I'll forward it to you. Take care! :)

There are many different methods of helping your anxiety. The ones you named are quite a bit. I think that helping your panic and anxiety takes a lot of work, and what Ive noticed in me is that I am very impatient, and I don't stick with anything long enough for it to help. I will feel ok for a while and then just stop with my therapy. Mainly the cause of your panic/anxiety attack is caused by excessive adrenaline in the brain that is built up by excessive worrying, stress, etc. When it gets overloaded it will react. (at least that's what I've read and understood) That's the briefest version I could think of , I hope that helps a little. Take care
