I have had anxiety problems for many years but have been doing really good up until about 2 weeks ago.  My blood pressure is running high and my #1 anxiety trigger is sickness.  In the past three months my mother passed away and my only child started his senior year in high school.  Today I was at the gym walking.  I check my heart rate before I begin and it's 115.  After about 3 minutes I get the "heart flipping" thing in my chest and get weak.  I check my pulse it's 63.  I'm wondering what's going on.  I figured with anxiety my pulse would get really high.  I'm going to the doctor later on today.

I am not sure what would cause your heart rate to go down, but I'm sure your doctor can put your mind at ease. I hope you were able to get some answers with your doc today. take care

I believe you need to see doc and find out what is going on but normal heart rate is around 72 74 ........
Have no idea why it would drop that way but am glad you will be finding out
Post and let us know okay

I went to the doctor yesterday afternoon. After running 2 EKGs which were both normal they are thinking that it is probably stress, anxiety, panic, etc. I am wearing a 24 hr. heart monitor right now. My friend who is a nurse with the cardiologist said some people throw "PCP" s (I think) which are usually benign unless you have a lot in a row. I'm feeling better today, just anxious because the cardio wants me to go back to the gym today and walk again.
