We are doing OK.
It happened on Monday , unfortunately when her foot was last dressed on Thursday a string of blisters had come up where the edge of her shoe was - the water must have sort of collected there , luckily it's not infected. She's having it dressed again on Tuesday so I will see what it's like then.
We have cut out a section of one of her soft shoes so that she is able to go outside so I don't have to carry her now.
The teacher came round on Friday to bring a card the class had made.............but I wish she hadn't now. I asked again about what happened , I told her that I am not blaming her personally but something should be done to prevent this happening again , and that I don't think children should be using boiling water at such a young age - I won't let her make jelly at home one to one , we do cookies and cakes and she helps me get ingredients out for tea etc... she got totally defensive , she said they had done it like that for years and didn't think it should be stopped , and then she actually walked off which really suprised me as she is the deputy-head so I thought she would have lots of experience communicating with people - just goes to show , you never can tell.
I'm going to see the head mistress next week so maybe it will be easier to sort things out.
I know that if they don't change anything I will be taking my daughter out of school when they are doing the jelly - I just hope I don't get penalised by the truancy police!
This has put so much stress on me at the moment I'm completely anx all the time and I'm having to work so hard to keep the PAs from happening cos I know if I have one everything else will just crumble as it's already going downhill.
I'm praying that it will be sorted by christmas as I want my family to enjoy it.
Thanks for being there - it means a lot.
