I have been a having problems with my anxiety... to the point I just want to lay in bed and not move. I have a little dog who I totally love but right now I just don't even want to take him out.
I had a major panic and anxiety attack my last year of college and gave myself depression... the whole works. And now almost 3 yrs later the anxiety is back. I thought that I was beating it.... and it crept back in. I have no clue what to do. I am already on meds and have a shrink and all that but I am still broken.
Is there anything I can do... I am just ready to give up.

Have you told anyone how you feel , you may need a change of meds - I have heard that sometimes they can stop being effective and something else has to be used in there place.

Do you have someone who could walk your doggie , and maybe spend a little time with you too - you don't have to tell them why you need the dog walking , just say your so busy and rushed off your feet. Or maybe you'd feel better paying a dog walker.

Get to your doc/pdoc and tell them what is going on - if you don't say they can't help.

Hang in there - keep posting , and let us know how your going.

Take care.

dont allow the memory of previous panic attacks to haunt you

maybe you need a change of meds and a new  shrink, he should have helped you more

anxiety is overcome by learning new relaxation and coping skills, rether than fighting against it to beat or defeat it

get a collection of self help books on agoraphobia and panic disorder and follow their advice

tell us your meds and doses

Ok I am back on track.....
Last week was really crazy. I was tired and my anxiety was throwing me off. And then on top of that I think I had a touch of the flu, which was casing me to think I was having panic attacks when I woke up.... but things are looking up again. Thanks for the notes Smiler and harry 4.
