I'm sure this topic has been posted before, but anyone who can give me an answer now I would appreciate it :-)

OK, decided to go off the Zoloft. No, havent told my DR yet. My next appt is in 2 weeks, but I plan to cancel it due to lack of funds(I have no insurance). I have been on 200mg for 2 months and quite honestly it helps a bit but all of a sudden I have developed other symptoms that i don't like (weight gain, blurry vision, memory loss and I am tired all the time). My anxiety is back and I take Klonopin when i need it and it seems to do the trick.

So, I went down to 150mg for 3 days and then down to 100 mg. Anyone know how long before I can go off completely? Am I doing this the right way?
Thanks guys, you're the best!!

You are feeling fine now as you have still got meds in your system and the Klonies what will you do if you run out of them .Personally I think it is important to tell your doc what you are doing and go from the dosage you are at now .There may be something else going on and he will be able to tell you have you not insurance for one more visit
I am so sorry you have to go thru this
take care please

Thanks for replying, Lyn

I haven't had any insurance, so it has been out of pocket the whole time. I haven't figured out what I am going to do when I run out. I'll have to cross that bridge when I get to it. Right now I just need my energy back and maybe I just need to stay at a lower dosage.

I really don't know, but I'm kinda desperate right now to try and gain my life back.

I would talk to your doctor about stopping the med. You could also ask a pharmacist. Is there a clinic you can go to instead that charges based on income? I hope you find some help soon.
