drive safey zone

  Ok I got to drive 450 miles round trip for my hearing for ssi my driving zone is about 50 miles one way then I tend to get realy tired out and stressed out by then, I will be driving though the mountain pass to get there and back on icy roads all the way then I'll be having to deal with the big city and all the ppl there and my hearing I all ready had an p/a yeserday just from all the stress.
 
  Any help on this please

not really, it's just before chrismas and we don't have family here but I know I will have to do it, talk about bad timing but hopefully the Judge will have the chrismas spirit in him.

Hi Dave...here's a couple of suggestions..play lots of fav. music...check out your journey on a road map and work out a plan of where you can stop and have breather along the way - that way you can pace yourself without getting too anxious.

Have faith in yourself. Good luck and hope everything works out for the best :)

also sing along with the car radio, stop and rest every 20 minutes, get out and walk around to relax

also relax when driving, avoid a death grip on the wheel nono


recovered former longtime anxiety and panic attack sufferer and helper of other sufferers  but no training or  qualifications in medicine or psychology, any remarks that may be taken as advice must be confirmed with doctor or other health professional

  I plan on bring lots of cd's of my old rock music, the last time I when't there about 7 years ago I had 2 p/a's just driving that far and yes I'm really good with the death grip and it wheres me out so badly.
