Bonjour.I was on this forum for the first time about a month ago and i started a post (which loads of people replied to,thanks for that,i just checked) I meant to log on again shortly after writing it and to respond to all your guys posts, but i couldn't remember how i found the website. I found it through loads of google searches the first time and couldn't remember how,but after a bit of a stuggle,i'm back and i saved i'll save it in favourites so i dont need to go through that again,it was a mission.

But,i'm here now. My anxiety has been overwhelming recently,i just have a few questions i'd like to ask you guys in the hope you's could answer them.

Did your anxiety come on suddenly? You first attack, what did you think had happened? What did you do?
D'you think you suffer many different mental problem or just anxiety?
D'you ever feel it's really hard to control happiness, because your usually anxious that when your happy you are happy for no reason and laugh at things that are not in reality, that funny?
Are you depressed the majority of the time?
What seems to get rid of your anxiety?
Does your anxiety seem to clear up and get better the day after drinking? This one confuses me.

For me,it feels like no matter what i do,i cannot find an answer,i search for answers everyday and i usually find myself going in circles,it's so tiring. My worries are so unrealistic it's unbelievable,i don't know how to think straight without worrying or negative thoughts taking over.

Just tell me anything about yourselfs actually,i'd be really interested to hear how it affects you guys as well.

Kenny was wondering what happened to you lol
Glad you found us again
My A/P is worse at different times yes when things seem to be going right and when I am happy BUT also when things are going way wrong and I am ill with other diseases
Kenny I have not drank but one drink every yr on a certain day since 1979 ( lost first hubby to drinking and driving)
I would suggest anyone with this DD and especially on meds dont drink as it only intensifies the a/p in the long run and it is a downer as well .........
I WORRY and over analyze everything all the time ...........most do worry and some things are not worth the time BUT our brain wont let us believe that
So glad you found us again
Keep posting
Take care
Lyn

Hi Kenny, welcome back to HealingWell. Sorry I overlooked your post. I'm going to sign off for the night now but want you to know that you are certainly not alone in what you are describing. In fact, a lot of people write about how they think they are going crazy. I'm sure others will be along to share their experiences. I am suffering with depression. I feel anxiety the worst upon waking up. Are you seeing a therapist and taking meds? Have you tried cognitive behavior therapy? Do you do breathing exercises? All of these things can make you more comfortable and give you a better quality of life.

Hey guys, thanks for replying.I'm only on quickly,i'm gonna try reply to a couple of posts while i'm here though. What age are you all? I'm 19,from scotland and it's good to meet you's. Yeah,i've took medications before, but they made me really hyper and to me,i just didn't feel like myself. It was like happiness with no reason,it wasn't so good. I'm trying cbt and breathing exercises just now, these things are all slowly having an effect. Has anyone on here overcome anxiety,d'you know? it'd be inspirational to speak to someone who's abandoned it from their life. Anyhow,i'll get going for just now. All the best.

Hi Kenny, I'm 42 and live in Southern California. Their is a member named "Harry" who has overcome anxiety and posts on her to help others. Why not post something like "anybody overcome their anxiety?"
