feeling like this to much!

hello all.its been a little while since my last post. Like all I have my good periods and bad. It seems like for the past month or so, I've just felt like my head is full. I notice it more when I'm in a store where there are bright lights? I also feel lightheaded alot of the time and just like I can't focus. I was doing really good in the beggining as far as going into places even when I wasn't feeling"good". I even went shopping the day after thanksgiving! The craziest/busiest shopping day of the year! And because I had my mom there if I felt"bad", I was ok. I still had the feeling though the head feeling not right/lightheaded. On top of all that, I also have been feeling twitchy and just not at all like myself. Any words of wisdom from you would make me feel much better and I would really appreciate it. Thanks everyone
 
PS-Have any of you had CBT therapy? Im trying to find someone around me who does it but its kinda hard where I live unless I wanna drive an hour or more. I just want to fight this because I am fed up and have a vacation coming up! Has it worked?BEtter then meds? I hope because I really want to fight this without meds because I'm more nervous taking them then when I don't! Yes I have tried them but got taken off because the worse out-weighed the better.Please let me know your thoughts.Thanks again

Hi Kchicka, I'm sorry that you are experiencing this. It is very normal this time of the year. Crowds, family get togethers, expectations and busyness. Their is on online CBT that you can try. Do a search for mood gym.

Hi kchicka..
Have you ever noticed when you are feeling light headed etc. that your breathing is very shallow...I know because this happens to me, and once I start concentrating on breathing deeply all the symptoms slowly go away..give it a try you may be amazed at what a difference this makes :))
