I posted this for someone else who was having trouble sleeping - thought it might help you too :
When you wake up have you tried making a warm drink of either chamomile tea or hot milk and cinnamon/nutmeg which all have sleep inducing properties.
Also try a calcium suppliment just before bedtime as this soothes insomnia.
For anxiety oats (like porridge ones) contain thiamin and pantothenic acid which act as gentle nerve tonics. They can help with fatigue , stress , and depression too.
There is also a kind of narcotic found in lettuce that can help to induce sleep (it is stronger in wild lettuce but still present in the ones we get in the shops) so try eating a few leaves before bed or when you wake in the night.
