Sam,

I dont think you are going nutty...Some people reguardless of current lifestiles friends etc go through this. You say you had a rough childhood...Sometimes this can trigger some of the anxiety in adult hood. Stick around and I am sure others will also try and help you out...I think if your therapist isnt helping you should try and see a different one. I am not sure what tyhe system is like in UK but I do know it is different from here in the states. Hang in ther and I hopeyou will get some of the help you need.

hi angel ...
You sound a lot like me!. I am also from the Uk and am on 20mg prozac, which I have been on for years. I also have a great lifestyle/friends/family etc but yet a lot of the time my head feels very messed up. Also my symptoms seem to get a lot worse before my period..grrrrrrrr. My boyfriend of 8 yrs is the opposite too...in relation to the  anxiety!. Its good to know I'm not the only one out there who does'nt feel 'right' (whatever that may be!! lol). I have found though that cbt has helped me a great deal and checkin in on the forums on here...
  Take care...jayne xxxxx :-)

Angel,
First, get a new therapist, second while you are definitely having some anxiety I believe a lot of what you are worrying about is just like and comes with age. We all have those thoughts that we think are weird and we are not going to tell anyone. I'll bet if you will get a good therapist all this will clear up rather quickly. Get the new therapist and relax.

Good Luck
