I would really like some of your opinions on this health situation I am having. I know ya'll arent drs but i value your opinions because so many of you know about as much as drs with all the health problems and tests you have gone through.
Ok..I get these abscess that are unbearably painful. sad I get them on my upper leg or lower buttox area. They become huge and infected and I always end up in the ER to get them laced. ( I would rather give birth) But anyway, this last one I had a few days ago was equally painful and about the same as all the other ones only I developed a fever. So the ER doctor who was amazingly sweet and caring decided to run a lot of bloodwork. They did the "rainbow" on me which is basically every blood test they can do in the ER. All the tests came back just fine. Even my white blood cell count was normal not even slightly elevated. I did end up getting sick the next day with sore throat and cold like symptoms so i am thinking the fever wasnt related in anyway. But The doctor did mention that she feels there is something wrong with my immune system that I cant fight this bacteria off and it turns into an abscess. Only thing is she couldnt find anything that it could possibly be. My thyroid is in the normal range, my sugar levels are fine so not likely diabetes. But she said it HAS to be something. Here's the thing which is my little theory on it. I only get these abscesses when i am either pregnant or right before my period or on my period. Isnt your immune system lowered during those times? Im not sure about it but I always thought that it was. So could that be why i can't fight them off during those times? Im really getting concered about this. Its not helping my anxiety and panic much as most of you well know that any problem with our bodies sends us in a downward spiral. If any of you have any opinons i would love to hear them because I am going to my regular dr tomorrow to discuss this with him and I would like to give him my opinion on what it could be and maybe come up with a plan on avoiding them. (advice from the ER doctor) Thanks everyone in advance :-)

Hey lyn. I dont "think" thats what I have. At least mine have never gotten to those stages. Although the smaller ones do resemble what i get. And those are so painful that i dont know how in the world you handle the pain of the ones that get huge like that. Im going to mention it to my dr anyway JUST IN CASE. So he can look into it. Thank you so much for the help. You're a sweetheart

Questions: Do they have an odor when they get lanced?
When they get lanced is there pus?
Will they get bigger and bigger but not bust on their own?
Also are you of Italian or similar descent?
Weird questions I know but I have seen some things similar to what you explained and these questions would help me know if its similar to those.
