Take some time out to breathe - you will probably realise when you do this that your shoulders have been creeping up to your ears with tension , the more you relax the less pain you should feel. I remember having a pain on top of my head , I was so paranoid I kept poking it and winding myself up about it - I was making the pain in the end due to stressing and prodding.
Harry mentioned CBT which can really help ,
