So, I've just started taking classes again for college. I feel really anxious before I go, Once I get there, I feel ok. But my head just feels really full and tight and just weird. I can't really concentrate and I'm affraid of being called on because I don't think I'll be able to anwser because I'm so anxious feeling.I'm bringing sleepytime tea with me to class to make me feel better, but it can't take away the weird feeling in my head. Any advice?

Honey I know how you feel. You just kinda want to be invisable there. Try focusing on just what the instructor is saying take in every word block everything else out around you except you and the instructor maybe this will help. Also try the deep breathing tecniques they help a lot. Hope this helps you out some. Have you seen a dr for this? Please keep posting so we know how you are doing.

do some deep slow breathing and relax, dont tense up or fight back

learn new ways of calming and relaxing yourself, valium as needed helps if you can get any

Thank you all for your advice. I think my problem right now is that I have a sinus infection and that's giving me all kinds of crappy symptoms, and I'm just thinking that somthing else is wrong with me and thats causing my anxiety to be worse. It's just a scary feeling for me, like my head is just so full feeling and just heavy like and weird. I know its just anxiety but getting that threw my head is the hardest part! I think I have a tension headache thrown into the mix as well. Blahhh. I'm seeing my doc on monday so hopefully the general sick part will be over then I'll just have to get threw my anxiety. Thank god I have all of you to help me with that. I'll keep posting. Hugs
