I finally have some positive things to post! YAY!  Over the last few weeks, mornings have improved for me so much that I no longer fear it at all, and I'm starting to sleep a little later too, which is soooo nice.  I'm no longer afraid to be home alone, which was a huge problem for me just a month ago.  I've also been getting out more, both Sat. and Sun. went out for a couple of hours each day to do some shopping.  I'm beginning to feel more "normal" most days, the pms can still cause some problems, though not as bad as a few months ago, it's very manageable now.  I'd say overall, that I'm doing better and feeling better every day.  When I look back just two months ago when I was having major panic attacks all day, every day, I'd say I've made huge strides in the right direction.  I sure hope there will be others posting here too!

Thank you soooo much Howlyncat!  I'm glad that you started this post!  I think that I tend to see my positives as one small thing at a time, which doesn't have much impact, but seeing them, in black and white, as a group of accomplishments makes me realize just how far I've come.  I want everyone here to know that there definitely is HOPE!  As hard as it gets, NEVER give up.  All of us are so worth the efforts and we all deserve to be fear free!

Started a "teens Night" for my friend Brownleaf it was his dream I helped him to reach it and I reached it too
The teens come in and we talk about everything...........only no self harm or drugs ..........
They love having a place to be able to go /come to and talk and laugh these kids are in a town that has nothng or actually had nothing
I am proud of that .........although music is different I like oldies lol.........

I have had less breakout with sores as I TOLD all family they are never going to make me sick again......... I cannot put my Cait  thru it no more nor self ......

I lost my best friend ever my MOM .........Yes I took it very hard ..........I have always been close to her we did everything  even run a Retirement Home together........take off on ROADTRIPS lol she loved Nature as do I and my Cait ..........I have come thru my first Christmas with hardly any ativan or diazapam that was hard for me but I wanted to 'FEEL" it ya know
Then My BD on the 13th was the hardest of all so use to her calling and saying 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY ,.......ya ole --.......lol
I am still grieving and will but I will survive

Seeing my dad going downhill is ripping me aprat but I take on the Nurses Cap as much as possible and see if I can get thru another day and I do ..............
He wants to be with Mom and I think thats what will be happening anytime soon they were almost joined at the hips

**I am trying to do all this with hardly or no a/p meds ......I went and conquered  shopping THAT was a biggie for me I left meds at home LIl one asked me if I wanted her to turn around and usually I would have BUT i didnt .........
** I made it thru no meds at all not even safety kit lol **

Most but not least I have been able to go out and do things with cait and lil one not alot but even some is improvement ya know .........
PLay scrabble have fun at night
Able to talk with daughter

Have decided to rethink my position about Hubby /I splitting

I have come thru so much yet I have done it w/o as much not even a quarter of the amount of a/p meds .........

* yes HW and all of u's have helped me BUT I too have helped myself and I am proud of me ......There has to be something anything you guys we are all on the sidelines and we see it WHY dont you

I have not been a member for very long, but you all have made such a difference! Thanks for always being here to support us and keep us going!

I just wanted to share that I had a busy weekend that I was stressing out about for a while now, but all went well! I went on Friday to try on bridesmaids dresses for my best friends wedding with her and her family. I was really nervous about being out all day, but everything was fine and I had fun!
Then I went up to Philadelphia with my mom to visit family. I was nervous about traveling and seeing my grandparents as they are getting older, but I made it through!
I had skipped beats all the while, but I did not let them slow me down! I did not even have to take any meds to calm me down!
I am learning to allow myself to feel good about these small victories!
Thanks for all of the support!!!!

Smiler,

I love that thought, of all of us holding hands and doing it together.  I'm going to use that the next time I go out...thank you so much for sharing that!  Be proud of yourself for getting out there on Sunday!

I tried to drive to a city over 30 minutes away last night, but had a panic attack and had to turn around.

HOWEVER I did make it about 25 minutes and so maybe next time I can make it 40 minutes... :) I'm trying to look at the positive side of things now.

I think what caused it was the anticipatory anxiety because I KNEW I was going to travel farther than I'm comfortable with, but I tried at least!!!

It's all about baby steps!!!

:)
