its easy to slip back to negative thinking with anxiety but positive thinking is very important for improvement

also imagine all the things you will be able to do when better.....

recovery from anxiety is now much  easier than it was and we should look forward to a better future

Took some down time and "got down with my bad sad self" lol
Actually I took a good hard inventory some was not to much to my liking but I dealt with it anyways
POSITIVE for me
I have seen the better side of the coin and I will stick with that one not the one that has me cowering and not being the "ME" I know I am ........
I finally took all info on health problems and illneses and instead of staying in denial /doesnt work/trust me
DEVISE a workable plan for me and what all ails me ( have much) not just the a/p
For the a/p I have my armor and I am ready to kick some gaskets .........
The severe OCD is gotten way otta hand to the point I was barely leaving skin on when washing NOT GOOD
So I have woked on that as well
I have a long road to go and a long haul but I know with my strong will .my daughter/son / grandbabes and all of my wonderfully caring friends here I will make it
I have a place in my heart for each and everyone of you's
Believe it ............
Luvs
God Bless

Glad to see more positive posts!!!  I'm still getting out...both sat and sun for the last three weekends!  This weekend really surprised me since the pms is back and usually causes major anxiety and I don't want to leave the house at all.  I just know that it is what I have to do, so I try not to think about it too much before hand and just go!  That anticipatory anxiety gets me every time.  Hope all of you have some positives to post too!!!

Howlyncat,

Thank you!  I'm so glad to hear that you are seeing positive changes too!  Accepting what you can't change really made a difference for me too, in lots of areas, especially the morning.  Once I started to accept that the p/a was back and began to just let it be the best I could, it started to slowly improve.  It's a tough step, but one worth the effort!  Hope you continue to see improvements!!!!!

Had a wow...Wow...WOW day today...I'm still kind of in shock over it all.  We've been re-decorating our bathroom for the last couple of weeks, taking a few trips to Menards and Home Depot about 3-4 miles from home which has become pretty easy.  We decided that we needed a couple of wall cupboards for some extra storage and I set out online to find two that would work and go with our new decor.  I didn't have much luck, so my husband suggeted Lowe's...ooohhh...a thirty mile drive, lots of traffic, and then a huge store...not sure about that.  So we devised a plan to do the trip in chunks, we'd drive a bit and stop at a store for a while, then go a little more, stop...etc.  Until we got to Lowe's.  Well, we left this morning and I was okay, a little nervous, but okay.  The farther we got from home, the more nervous I became, but when the anxiety got higher, we stopped for a bit at Kohl's, one more stop at Home Depot (the one 15 miles from here)  and then we made it to Lowe's and shopped for half an hour.  Sadly, no cabinets there, but we then went another 2 miles to an area that is nothing but stores and went to 8 more places...8!  We were gone for 6 hours...I have not been away from home that long in...well I don't remember how long.  The highlight of the entire day was eating out...we went to Old Country Buffet.  I haven't eaten in a restaurant of any kind in well over six months, so this was HUGE!  Once we got to Lowe's, I was as calm as could be and totally enjoyed the rest of the day...kind of hated to come home.  I just love the boundary breaking days!!!!  And as an added bonus, we did find two cabinets for the bathroom...can't ask for much more!

Had another really good day, not quite as eventful as yesterday, that really exhausted me and all I've wanted to do today was go back to bed...but I didn't.  We did some more running, the farthest point was about 15 miles, but with the way I feel, that was still a big accomplishment.  I finally went to the grocery store and did major shopping...we've either been going to pick up just a few things, or my husband and daughter have gone without me.  It felt so good to be able to do that again.  I know some people hate to grocery shop, but I love it...it's the putting them away when we get home that I don't look forward too!  It was just nice to get out again, it builds the confindence that I'm so going to need when another setback descends.  Isn't it amazing that during a good time you almost feel invincible, like you can do anything, but when your in a setback all the fears come back so quickly and overwhelm so easily.  Just two weeks ago, I was having a tough time, and was so afraid of things and now those same things don't have an effect on me...how does that work?  Hoping everyone has some positives going on right now!!!

nono       nono        INSTEAD of thinking you are getting NO WHERE
Look back to where you were not long ago and see what I and others see
Baby steps are great the best IMO '
Standing in the same spot is getting you no where
most or all have come so far YET yo dont see it
Try doing an iventory on yourself and I can just imagine your surprise
'Even the tiniest of improvement is better than none IMHO
Just a suggesstion from someone who has seen the growth and is proud

Please all Remember it is not how big a step you take or how little

It is that you have ACTUALLY taken that step

Baby steps will get you there and more likely benefit you more than LEAPS and Bounds
I see so many of you that have grown have changed and done something small  EVERYDAY or WEEK and yet you do not give CREDIT where it is due tongue YOU are doing it YES we all have helped support one another but in reality it is you that are taking those steps yeah
NOW please all I ask is this will you now

ACCEPT that you have made some changes and you have grown each and everyone of you it will help you carry a load lighter and move you in a better direction when you admit YOU have done it ..........

Kudos to all .........YOU are all winners in my books
