So I was in a code red panic attack last night really getting worked up. I tripped over some shoes and my hand hit the radio turning it on and blam there was the Doors with Riders on the Storm you'd think that would have freaked me out more (I mean the song wasn't written to be flowery) but nope I started listening to it and remembered all the good times I had listening to the Doors, I played the whole album and was A-ok. Maybe I found my "cure" lol.

favourite music can be very calming and relaxing, especially if it reminds you of better times
some anxiety sufferers go out with a sony walkman and earphones playing favourite music to calm them
I have a collection of movie soundtrack music which calms and relaxes me and takes my mind off worrying about things
