Okay, so I finally, for the first time in 5 yars admitted to having a hugh fear of hurting others, or myself. (No I am no going to do anything.)I never told anybody because I thought they would put my in a psych ward. Well anyway, I came across a site about OCD, and one of the fears is the fear that I have. Does OCD go with anxiety? Is OCD treated differently then OCD? Does anybody else in here have OCD? I always have been a freak about things in perfect order, and just right. I never gave it a second thought. I am kind of happy it is not a bad as I thought. I thought I was going to turn psycho or something, and end up in  a hospital for the rest of my life. Kind of nice knowing that there is a name for these thoughts, and a way for them to be treated.  PLEASE HELP!!!!
Mary

Hi Mary,

I suffer OCD as well. Some of those thoughts we get can be truly sickening and have us questioning our sanity, but it's all part of the OCD.

I ended up in hospital last year because my OCD had me constantly thinking suicidal thoughts. I didn't want to do it but my mind what not let up. Hospital and med changes helped to relieve those symptoms.

Being happy doesnt mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyound the imperfrctions!God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but HE did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears & light for the way
