Hi everyone i could really use all your prayers and thoughts right now...on valentines day my husband suffered a massive heart attack and is recovering in the hospital...i never thought this could happen it was always my biggest fear being and anxiety/panic sufferer and this is the scariest time of my life.  My son is only one and does not understand why mommy has not been home with him for two days and that daddy almost died..i still don't think reality set in yet as i have not cried or anything yet...but i am thanking everyone in advance for your thoughts and prayers....HUGS

Very sorry to hear about your husband. Hope everything turns out okay and my thought and prayers are with you. If you don't mind me asking how old is your husband and did he suffer any long lasting effects? Usually when one is young they make a full recovery fast and never have a problem again.

Hugs and prayers to you Lisa. I know what you are going through. My ex-husband had his first heart attack at age 38. He was a heavy smoker and ate extremely fatty foods. He had two more over the last few years of our marriage. He was noncompliant with his meds. He thought that his heart had miraculously healed itself. If your husband does EVERYTHING the doctors tell him to, diet, exercise, medications etc. his chances of getting better are greatly increased. Let him know you are there. Tell him how much you love and need him. All you can do is give him support. Just be there, try and stay strong for him. My prayers are with you.

Take Care,

Oh, Lisa- I just read about your husband, but am so glad that he is home!! I, too, find that sometimes the worst thing about a crisis is worrying about my kids being in the midst of it- but I'm sure your son knows how much you love him- and, luckily, kids are very resilient!! Hugs to all of you- hoping all is well!!
