I am new to this post and have been dealing with anxiety for years.  My anxiety started when my daughter got chronic disease and got ill.  Now every time I want to go to the doctor or even the mention of a doctor or hospital I become very anxious.  I am always worried that I am going to pass out.  If I excercise I worry about passing out.  I used love going for a walk by my self, now I am terrified, when I start walking I get that feeling that my feet making trick on me and get off balance and than the  thoughts start and the anxiety starts.  I am always thinking about my breathing that I can't take a deep breath specialy when walking or excercising, and that scares me.  Exercise, hospitals even when someone mentions that someone is sick i get terrified, that scares me a lot.  Please help me.

Read my post entitled " A slave to my fear" and you'll see that I suffer from the same thing as you - as do many anxiety sufferers.....fear just seems to take over our entire being sometimes.

Hi  andwes,

Thank you for your reply, I am also afraid from driving.  even when someone is driving I feel out of control and anxious.  Stop lights drive me crazy I get really anxious.  I am afraid to pump into the car ahead of me so I stop way far behind the car.  who ever is driving with me make fun of me.  help

people often feel that they will, or should pass out from anxiety but this almost never happens

you can pass out from overbreathing, also called hyperventilation so avoid this by breathing deep and slow

car driving problems are common for anxiety sufferers, some cant drive at all

try to let go of all excess tension in your muscles, valium type meds as needed help

try to find an understanding doctor and let him do the worrying about your health

recovered former longtime anxiety and panic attack sufferer and helper of other sufferers  but no training or  qualifications in medicine or psychology, any remarks that may be taken as advice must be confirmed with doctor or other health professional
