I have posted here one before about something bizarre happen to me at the beach 6 months ago. It all started when I was driving to the beach I was talking to my friend and I suddenly noticed I couldnt get some words out and I started studdering, this is normal to me because I have studdered before but not like this. When we got to the beach I began to feel as if i felt really out of it or somewhat slow. As I went over and started talking to my friend i noticed my jaw go completeley numb and I couldnt speak at all. I suddenly fell to the ground and started spazing out like i was having a seizure, My body kept moving out of control and I felt like I was dying. I count not control myself!! It was for about a minute and i snapped out of it. After that I felt really light headed and had derealization. That same incident happened twice that day and I was evaluated in the hospital and they couldnt find anything wrong with me. The only thing was that my potassium levels were really low.

Ever since that bizarre incident happened I never had a repeat but I had anxiety / panic attacks. I was put on medicine and it seemed to help. One thing I notice is that every time I get really excited, I start to hyperventilate and the same thing happens over. My heart starts thumping out of control and I get a feeling as if im going to pass out. I am trying to find a solution to this problem because it has been going on for way too long. I have not been myself lately and I stay away from certain activities because I have a fear of whats going to happen. I just want to find an answer for what that could of been at the beach. I am really fustrated and just want to get my life back to normal and dont want to take meds anymore. Any replies will be greatly appreciated. I just want to be certain in what is going on with me. Thanks for your time.

HI there
Your potassium being too low is very dangerous so make sure you get a supplement if not getting enough
I would really question your doc about the potassim to see just how low it was
Bananas have a good source I drink a liqued potassium daily
Wishing you all the best in your quest Kreak

Just a quick question completely off the subject. I am a newcomer to anxiety attacks--first big one(hospital and all of that) was 2 1/2 months ago. Still battling everyday but the one thing that really gets me is this pressure in ears. Since my attacks began I seem to believe the worst everytime I feel slightly poor. I am dealing with that but the pressure is a real pain in the but. Anybody ever experience similar symptoms??

hey Kreak22.. i read about your incident at the beach. its ironic.. i`m 18, the same exact thing happened to me in August.  Same thing. Then in September, i had seizure like attacks as well, and i went to the hospital.. and like you, they said nothing was wrong.  Since August, i've gone to every imaginable doctor, as a matter of fact, i went to an MRI on my brain tonight and couldnt even handle it, so i had to stop.  I really want my life back to normal as well, i miss working out every day like i used to. =/

Hi Kreak22.  I read your experience at the beach.  I am sure it was horrible for you.  I was in the same situation as you, but for me, I woke up one day and could not walk, literally.  I collapsed.  Went to the hospital, had all kinds of tests done and guess what?  Nothing physically wrong with me.

Anxiety shows its face sometimes in a physical form, which is the worst.  I would go and see your family doctor and insist that every test be done.  Once that is ruled out, you maybe suffering from really bad anxiety.  The good news is that you have a great support group right here.  The other good news is that there are medications that will help.

Also, I would insist that your doctor check your B-12 levels.  B-12 is a very important vitamin that will cause havoc on your body if it is low.

Hope this helps a little in addition to what others have posted
