What is wrong with me ?

When more than two people are asking me questions i feel overwhelmed....when stressed or during a crohns flare up i feel overwhelmed and i get irritable... what is that and how can i deal with it ?

I get like that sometimes..things that make you wanna go aarrrgh, cover your ears or hide under the desk! lol..For me it is anxiety/stress and it hits me when i am on 'overload' in my life..I have to remember to breathe, and 'take control' of the situation. Unless it's a life and death situation - no one really needs an answer straight away..a really good reply is..'I'll get back to you, I just need a moment to think about this, ok?' Generally I find that as soon as they have stopped putting me under the grill for an answer and the pressure is off..I can get back to them straight away :-)

Sometimes ya just gotta say "Hold up! One person at a time please!" Stress will absolutely make ANY medical condition worse! So you have to MAKE people give you some room! It's rude anyhow for them to be vying for your attention at one time! :p

Remember to breathe and take a step back. Give yourself time to think and maybe explain to people that you are feeling overwhelmed and can they just give you a bit of time to take in what they are saying and give you some space.
