I just finished a panic attack a few minutes ago. I hate this SOOO much! Tomorrow is the day that I go back to school after spring break. Just thinking about it makes me feel like I'm going to panic. I ssooooooo scared that I'm going to start panicing again while I'm in school. I don't know what I'm going to do if it starts up again. I wish there was a way to stop panic attacks permanently without medication and without having to buy a book or a tape or something. I guess it's just false hope though. I don't mean to sound like such a downer, but I'm just so sick of this that I wish so badly that I would be able to snap my fingers and it would be gone. Pointless, I know, but still. I guess I'm just a little low on hope right now.

I really do wish that snaping one's fingers would work lol but have you ever tryed learning CBT as we see so miny ppl in school coming down with anxiety now, maybe your school library or better yet your school cansler(sp) can help you and I'm going to bump up Vic's post on CBT for you.

Self help like CBT and other tech's as Freezin suggessted are a great start
I dont think you will get to far until you start doing some things to help self out of this
Just my opinion I have had them 30 plus yrs and finally am doing relaxation and CBT as well as other good tech's and it is working for me

It is very discouraging J-Lynn, I have plenty of days just like them. I hope you start to feel better soon
