Stress causes the release of a hormone secreted by the adrenal glands called Cortisol, it is like adreneline...when this hormone is released it suppresses your immune system when weakens your bodys ability to fight off illness/disease, which can cause you to get sick.. Your lymph nodes are where most white blood cells hang out to fight disease, thats why when you get sick your nodes are swollen.. hope this helps.

Stress can have an impact on the immune system. When I have been suffering severe anxiety and stress, I have always found that I have picked up something viral due to my immune system not being as good. Try a good multivitamin.

Yes your immune system is attacked when under stress
DID you look at the pics I had up of Pyoderma they are from crohns BUT stress will bring them on full force as they are now due to crohns flare and Cait being in Toronto

Lymph nodes most likely would swell IMO if under stress and you have normally a low grade fever to go along with it all ....
