Hi everyone,
I've got this new symptom going on, it is extremely annoying and when I'm vulnerable it can cause me to worry over it, so I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone else experiences the same thing.  For the last couple of months, I've had a tingling sensation in my scalp.  It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it really gets to me.  There's one spot that does it more often, but sometimes my whole scalp tingles.   The books I've read mention tingling sensations, but usually in the fingers, toes and around the mouth, doesn't mention the scalp.  Was just wondering if anyone else has this?

I have many many times and it is very irritating I feel like I have electric kind of things going on up in my scalp .....its all part of the nervous system so I am sure we are not alone in this ........
My worst place is from the crown of head to down arond the neck and it always seems to go there more than other places ya know
Sometimes feels like Buggies are crawling or something like that
Is this what you are talking about

YES.  It has happened to me on more than one occasion.  I thought I was losing my hair or something?  It is nerves.  But I do find that my toes really tingle when I am extremly nervous.  When in that state, walking becomes a huge chore.

Lyn, yes, it does sort of feel like it's electric, or buggies crawling around.  It's so annoying!    I don't get any other symptoms with it for the most part, though I did notice today that my scalp and skin on my face felt tight...would explain the tingling...just haven't noticed the tightness before.

Boomer,  that must be awful to have your toes tingle so bad that it's hard to walk!  My toes and fingers have only tingled on very rare occassions, but I hate that too!

Thank you both for replying!!!

could be from the fight or flight response which limits bloodflow to head, hands and feet, causing tingling or numbness
