Yes we do see the northern lights as we call them but down in this part of Alaska they tend to be less colorful here mostly white a green lights but at time we can really get to see all the colors like a river of lights coming down from the night sky moving as it go's over the mountains. I remember one time was working late at night and was on my way home just after passing the town I had to stop and just watch the light show for about an hour as it was the most beautiful show I have ever seen in my life.
Lyn I was going to post here about my CFS and why I do push myself over my limits at times but I think you will understand better under your thread on childhood memories
Well I did finish the truck up in time for the drive to her horse camping trip and sleeped most of the day away, but I still had enough in me to go for a short ride on old boone this evening on the horse trail and guess what, here is that fence back up again blocking the trail, even after the Troopers told him to remove it from the right-a-way. Well needless to say I moved it for him with the horse and dragged it a 1/4 mile away with out him knowing this time lol boy I bet he's going to be hot in the morning when he sees it gone.
Guess I'm starting to feel like my old self again lol
Hi Lyn that's great to here about your Cait with both school and now going for house riding classes. I hope that she has as much fun with the horses as I do lol
I'm still recouping and sleeping a lot right now from over doing it but I did get her there and everything unloaded and took a 2 hr nap there in the truck lol before heading back home. Last year she took my horse Boone as we were not sure how Chinook would do at the time since we had only had him a few months but from what she has said so far he's doing great. Well I'm going back to bed and sleep some more, but let me know how things went with Cait and it looks like Kitt is fitting right in and doing great.
Hey YOU................I am loving it here.
Is there a camp for hubbies up there I can send my husband too...........yehaaa, he rides an iron horse thow?
He is a introvert and loves to go up to our 80 acres of wood ticks in northern MN and stay for days.
So you have a daughter that rides horses too.........that is great.
I can see the northern lights some times in the night sky................they are beautiful.
Now, here is where I get to remind you that IMHO you need to take care of you first if you want to carry on taking care of others. I realize there are times when we all push our limits and pay the price for it, we are human.
I am here for you, take my hand any time you need it.
Hay that's Great Lyn to here about Cait. Tomorrow I pick up my kid from horse camp and they do a little show for us with the rides and horses that they have learned while there. Still hurting from overdoing it though but starting too feel some what better. King fishing has started last week I'm hoping to be able to get a few in the next few weeks but we see how things go.

May your day be filled with laughter and love.
Got your email Lyn, all is ok just been trying to mend the dock on the river from the ice jam we had and been taking a lot more of my time then I thought it would have. All the cemented posts have been pushed over and I just been trying hard to get them back in place and level out the dock before the water come up more, so I have just been really out of it lately and sleeping when done for the day.
But no I'm not mad at all, just real tired and sore. Sorry for not talking much and all but every thing has to be do before the water comes up more as it's about 3 feet from the dock right now and I real don't feel like getting all cold and wet lol
Lot bigger job then I had thought it was going to be.
Oh and thank you for the happy fathers day sig
I have been missing you too as I was afraid you were lost in the mountains hunting that big elk............
Glad all is ok with you. I would help with the dock but I would probably nail my thumb to the boards...........
Happy Father’s Day
How's it going, no Elk here but moose but there are some on some of the islands by Kodiak but moose season isn't till fall but right now it's bear season but just don't seem to have the time right now to go but that's OK I got fishing season coming here real soon for the sockeyes salmon
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh so much 2 do in such a short time before winter comes, as of right now we got maybe 2 hours of night time not counting dusk to dawn and by the way we been hitting the 70's and sweating my but off lol

Hey Fav Cowboy,
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! I will let you tell me about the salmon.
I am wishing you well and of course Lyn is in my prayers for the wonderful person she is, a true mentor and friend. I am so glad I had the opportunity to join this team.
Take care of you.
