As most of you may know, I'm about to move in a few days to a temporary location while I train for a new job. I can probably have daily internet access there, but I'm not totally sure how much time I'll have to blog. After that I'm moving back to Dallas, and it may take a couple of weeks to get settled into a new house or apartment with internet access and all that. (I live in the dark ages...my pc is pretty modern but I have no laptop for wireless access).

Anyway, the main qualification is that you can write well (decent grammar, good ideas, etc.). You should also have enough time to make at least one post a day. I typically make two or three. We don't have to agree on philosophies as long as you're not hardcore anti-benzo or "take this weed and this herb and you'll be fine". I'd like for it to be a person from this forum who's been posting a while, so I'll be confident they won't delete a bunch of posts or something crazy like that. And it would be awesome if you're a photographer or some other kind of visual artist that wouldn't mind posting examples of their work to go along with their posts.

Anyway, please e-mail or comment if interested. The blog is less than a month old but is building traffic...I hate to leave it idle for more than a day or two.

Thanks.

It's in my signature, and also in my profile if you click on my name. I wasn't a blogger before I started blogging. You're a candidate if you want to be one! You certainly write well and have a lot of experience with this.

Hey dude,

I don't think you should worry about getting a guest blogger. I think it's good to skip a few days, that way you have a lot of material when you return! Just thoughts...

P.S. Just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed reading last Saturdays entry, "Answering questions that barely exist". I thought that it was brilliant.

Thanks.

It'll be more than a few days, though. It could be as long as a couple weeks, actually, so I think I should get someone in there to maintain.

edit -- thanks for the complement, too. I enjoyed writing that entry.

1. Read my blog
2. When your e-mail works, send me a couple of sample entries. You'll have to spell correctly and using reasonably correct grammar (including capital letters) would be necessary.

That's fine, Jersey.

Just to make things clear, I'm just looking for someone to write insightful entries. It's a blog that will probably be around a while, so I don't want the type of writing that a lot of people use in forums or instant messengers. That means capital letters when appropriate, correct spelling, and strong English in general. Other than that I don't care about writing style.

I have a feeling I'm sounding like a jerk, but I don't mean to be. It's just one of my little "pet peeve" kind of things.

No apologies necessary. I was just clarifying what I'm looking for.
